Every Friday in June 2019, the Fincibec Campus in Sassuolo is hosting a series of interesting meetings on slabs. The meetings, for architects and design professionals, examine the production process, applications and ceramic surface treatment of the FIRE and OVER ranges.
In addition to a visit to see CONTINUA, the innovative technology Fincibec has introduced in its factories to meet current and future market requirements, the meetings offer an in-depth analysis of the inspirations behind the FIRE and OVER catalogues, a focus on technical questions such as slab handling and cutting, and end with an exclusive preview of the projects being developed for the next Cersaie.
The creativity and style of Naxos are once again on display at the Tiles Fair of Saint-Gobain Distribution Bâtiment, in Lille (France) on 25 and 26 June. The show, organised by the prestigious transalpine company, is entirely dedicated to new developments in the ceramics sector, such as the new Belleville and Fresco collections, which are original and trendy solutions to elegantly be used in residential environments and more.
The Fincibec Group’s new products and future projects were centre stage at the 2019 Agents Meeting on 27 May, which saw the various arms of the group assemble at the Fincibec Campus in Sassuolo. The event, which attracts a very strong participation every year, is an opportunity to analyse market trends in detail and to unveil Fincibec Engineering technical solutions, as well as the latest aesthetic and stylistic trends developed in response to commercial and design needs. For the whole day, the meeting brought together the sales forces of the Fincibec Group companies, Monocibec, Century, Naxos, FIRE and OVER.
Fresco is the new Naxos collection that tells of atmospheres suspended in time, environments steeped in history, and recent stories that have left their indelible traces on every surface. Fresco embodies a contemporary style that seeks elegance in the contrast between materials and finishes, enhances the pairing of ancient and modern, and focuses on small, unique imperfections that are the root of the very concept of beauty.
Este, Aragona, Gonzaga, Visconti, Scaligeri, and Regio, the six colours of the collection, reference the glorious era of the Italian Renaissance through sophisticated shades and graphics that recall the great masterpieces, frescoes that hide unique details in their backgrounds, in the mixture of colours and small lacerations caused by the passage of time.
With a thickness of just 7 mm, Fresco is a complete collection in fine porcelain with rectified edges and decorative offerings in line with the contemporary needs of architecture and furnishing, made with the most advanced digital technologies. Fresco surfaces find their ideal match with the offerings of large OVER slabs, reflecting the most evocative decorations of the range in the 120 x 260 cm format, which are ideal for composing interior design projects with a clear visual impact.
The new Naxos collections can be found at Futurebuild 2019, from 5 to 7 March in London, an event focused on the most sustainable and environmentally friendly innovations, products and building materials. Naxos ceramic solutions are hygienic, hypo-allergenic, recyclable, and made by means of production cycles that respect the environment, thus perfectly in line with the needs of visitors of the London event. Naxos offerings (Fincibec Group) are exhibited in the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) space, stand B80.
Positive meetings in Miami with architects from the USA and Canada
With its on-trend products and innovative technical solutions, the Fincibec Group has chosen Miami (Florida, USA) to present the many new items in its portfolio to the busiest architecture firms in North America. On 6 December, a workshop organised by ICE and Ceramics of Italy attracted numerous design professionals in the period in which the city was heavily frequented by art, architecture and design enthusiasts for Art Basel 2018. The event aroused the interest of prestigious firms in both the USA and Canada who are interested in learning more about the new possibilities offered by Italian-made ceramics, and was personally managed by Fincibec USA staff.
Naxos will be taking part in “Cersaie disegna la tua casa 2018”, an event that opens the doors of the international ceramics show to private consumers looking for interior design ideas for their homes. On Thursday 27 and Friday 28 September on stand …, hall 20 at the BolognaFiere exhibition centre, Naxos consultants will be on hand to offer advice on personalisation and how to choose tiles for any domestic space. Book an appointment with a Naxos consultant by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Fincibec Group 2018 Meeting was held on 28 May, attended as always by all company members, to provide an update of the situation and present projects for the future. Preceded by an analysis of the business scenario on the global ceramic tiles market, the meeting examined Fincibec investments in recent years and the opportunities they have opened up.
The start-up of slab production using the innovative Continua+ technology expands the ability to respond to market requirements and meets the growing demand for large formats and extra-thick solutions. New technologies are now in operation at Fincibec’s increasingly efficient plants to support the aesthetic research and creativity of the three group companies – Monocibec, Century and Naxos – and underpin their constant commitment to customers, reflected today in new solutions developed specifically for slab handling, laying and machining.
