Every Friday in June 2019, the Fincibec Campus in Sassuolo is hosting a series of interesting meetings on slabs. The meetings, for architects and design professionals, examine the production process, applications and ceramic surface treatment of the FIRE and OVER ranges.

In addition to a visit to see CONTINUA, the innovative technology Fincibec has introduced in its factories to meet current and future market requirements, the meetings offer an in-depth analysis of the inspirations behind the FIRE and OVER catalogues, a focus on technical questions such as slab handling and cutting, and end with an exclusive preview of the projects being developed for the next Cersaie.

Fincibec and Assoposa met for a training day dedicated to the sales force, focused on installation methods of the most innovative ceramic materials. The ceramic producer has entrusted the tile installation company to examine the details and characteristics connected with the laying of large formats and slabs of 20 mm thickness – essential information for the sales force in order to provide the proper suggestions of use, and to illustrate all of the possibilities and potential of these products.
Assoposa focuses specifically on the training of floor tiling installers, and issues official certification to professionals with the necessary skills to operate in a sector that requires the abilities of highly qualified personnel. The day of Friday, March 4th was separated into a theory session dedicated to the basics and to updates in laws and regulations, and into interesting practical demonstrations thanks to the set-up of a job site in one of the Fincibec sites. The Assoposa trainers supplied practical demonstrations of the laying of large paving slabs and trim, and of the laying of thick pavements, also for use in urban furnishings.
Among the docents of the Fincibec training day have been the President of Assoposa and owner of Colombo Giacomo di Paolo and Luigi SRL in Sirtori (Lecco), Paolo Colombo, and master floor layer Massimo Manzotti of Gattatico (Reggio Emilia). The organization of the event has been favored by the coordination of Francesco Bergomi, manager of Confidustria Ceramica, who focuses on training and security.
